Homemade Donuts

Treats for the Hubby's work place :)

Homemade donuts.
Easy as hell and NUMMY!
I'm making these donuts and My Homemade Sausage Jalapeno Cheese Kolache, for my Hubby's work place, in the morning :D
Get the recipe for the Homemade Sausage Jalapeno Cheese Kolache HERE!

Ingredients:

2 cans biscuits ( DO NOT use flaky )
Frying oil ( I just use Vegetable oil )
Something to make a hole in the biscuits ( I used a cake decorating thingy ;)

Heat about 2 inches of oil to Med heat ( do not let the oil get to hot or your donuts will cook to fast and burn )

Poke holes in your biscuit dough.
Place donuts in pan one at a time and be sure to to crowd the pan.
Watch carefully and turn the donuts ever few seconds.
Remove from pan when golden brown.

Let cool.

I topped mine with both a chocolate glaze and just a plan donuts glaze.
Here the recipe and how to make both easy glazes.

Chocolate Glaze

melt in a microwave safe bowl, 1/4 cup butter and 1/2 cup chocolate chips.
Stir and cool until nice and creamy.

Donuts Glaze

1/4 cup of milk ( Heated up in the microwave for about 30 seconds )
1 Tsp Vanilla
2 cups powdered sugar

combine and mix all until nice and creamy.

Once the donuts are cooled completely, you can glaze to your heart content by dipping them into the glazes, one at a time.

Let the donuts sit and chill then ENJOY!
